Angelina Jolie has seemingly put the skids on a sequel to Wanted, with news that she's hotly pursuing two other projects; both of which sound like a better a idea than a sequel to the relatively enjoyable action film.
The Hollywood Reporter are saying that Jolie and The Wrestler helmer Darren Aronofsky are in discussions to develop a big-screen adaptation of Ron Rash's 2008 period novel Serena. While Jolie is also pushing forward with The Tourist, opposite Johnny Depp, which has just started shooting in Venice.
It's though that work on a Wanted sequel will move ahead anyway, probably just with a different hot babe in the vamp role - Megan Fox's spidey sense just started tingling.
