Elton John is to produce a mental sounding horror flick that aims to pitch a blood thirsty alien against characters from the world of Jane Austen. The film is called Pride and Predator, and will see costumed, foppish sorts, being hunted down by the aforementioned other worldly being, and then disposed of in a messy manner. John's partner and co-producer David Furnish said: "It felt like a fresh and funny way to blow apart the done-to-death Jane Austen genre by literally dropping this alien into the middle of a costume drama, where he stalks and slashes to horrific effect." It's being directed by first time features helmer Will Clark, and sounds so mental, it could just be fantastic.
