Two relatively unknown actors are up for major parts in a new big budgeted adaptation of the tale of King Arthur, Arthur and Lancelot. According to The Playlist, both Kit Harington, (Game of Thrones) and star of the sporadically brilliant but uneven AMC series The Killing, Joel Kinnaman are up for the lead roles.
Apparently much higher profile names were up for both parts including (the genuinely sound) Jim Sturgess, Liam Hemsworth and Dominic Cooper. The film is being directed by Wedding Crashers and The Change Up helmer David Dobkin, who is changing gears for the $90 million flick.
Shooting is expected to begin early next year for a 2013 release.
