Jessica Chastain has released another teaser image for the horror sequel that everyone is waiting for – ‘It: Chapter 2.’
A first look at the adult versions of the ‘Loser Club’ was revealed earlier this month, while Chastain previously teased her upcoming role – and marked the first day of filming on the project – back in June, with this split screen image of her alongside the actor who played the child version of her character Beverly in the first ‘It’, Sophia Ellis.
The new picture she has released portrays herself and Ellis again, and sees the latter passing the torch, in this case in the form of the film’s iconic red balloon, onto the ‘Zero Dark Thirty’ actress. Both Chastain and Lillis are wearing light blue dresses while sitting across from each other at a table.

Chastain has been linked to the second instalment since the original 2017 film was released since she had previously worked with its director Andy Muschietti, who is returning to direct the sequel, on the film ‘Mama.’
Chastain joins an ensemble that includes Bill Hader in the role of Richie, James Ransone as Eddie, James McAvoy as Bill, Andy Bean as Stanley, Jay Ryan as Ben and Isaih Mustafa as Mike.
Young stars Jaeden Lieberher, Jeremy Ray Taylor, Sophia Lillis, Finn Wolfhard, Wyatt Oleff and Chosen Jacobs are also set to reprise their roles from the first movie in flashback sequences. Bill Skarsgård will return as Pennywise the clown.
The first ‘It’ movie earned rave reviews (check out our own review here) and grossed $700 million worldwide, making it the highest grossing horror movie (unadjusted for inflation) and the fourth highest-grossing R-rated film (after ‘Deadpool’ and its sequel as well as ‘The Matrix Reloaded’) of all time.
‘It: Chapter Two’ is set to hit theatres on September 6th, 2019.
