Once you get an Oscar, you get a lot more bargaining power it seems. JLaw is going to cut down on make-up times significantly in the next X-Men movie X-Men: Days of Future Past, as Mystique is getting a body suit. Apparently on the set of X-Men: First Class, Lawrence had such an extreme reaction to the body paint used to make her the trademark Mystique blue that doctors had to be called in. We're talking blisters and all. Eugh.
We're assuming it will still stick to the whole scaley, naked look that the character is known for, and won't look like a cheap morph suit. Talking to E! about Days of Future Past, Lawrence said 'I'm so excited because I'm going to wear a body suit. It will be from neck down so it will cut out time and the blisters. 'I haven't read the script yet, I haven't had 30 minutes. They literally gave me the script and I was like, 'I can't read this until Monday'.'.
With filming set to kick off around May, it looks like Bryan Singer has managed to get the band back together for both X-Men sagas, with First Class-ers James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender and Nicholas Hoult back for the '60s timeline and original trilogy castmembers Hugh Jackman, Ian McKellen, Patrick Stewart, Anna Paquin, Ellen Page and Shawn Ashmore and potentially even Halle Berry on board. There's so much potential on board it's almost terrifying. Please don't f*ck it up Singer. We all saw what you did with Superman.
