The very funny Jason Segel has taken his sweet time following up the hugely enjoyable Forgetting Sarah Marshall and I Love You, Man, as he's been busy with How I Met Your Mother. That may also explain why he's signed on for a supporting role in Cameron Diaz’s new comedy Bad Teacher.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Segel will play a PE teacher in the film about Diaz's selfish moulder of young minds, who is on the lookout for the perfect man to take care of her. But the man she wants already has a missus and this causes Diaz to hatch a plan of sorts to snare her man.
Hopefully Segel is one of those sadistic PE teachers who tortures fat kids, 'cause that's always funny. Jake Kasdan is directing from a script by Lee Eisenberg and Gene Stupnitsky (the shite Year One, but also the awesome American version of The Office.
