Jason Momoa is the latest actor to join the already star-studded cast for the remake of 'Dune'.
Fans know Jason Momoa for blockbuster 'Aquaman' and for the series 'Game of Thrones', 'Stargate Atlantis' and 'Frontier.'
'Dune' is a 1984 sci fi epic that flopped in the box office at the time but rose to cult status later.
Denis Villeneuve, the director of 'Sicario', 'Arrival' and 'Blade Runner 2049', is behind the remake. Eric Roth is writing the screenplay.
Momoa will play Duncan Idaho in the upcoming movie.
Other cast members include Timotheé Chalamet, first of all, cast as Paul Atreides, one of the central characters in the story and the series as a whole.
Oscar Isaac play Paul's father, Duke Leto Atreides.
Rumour say Javier Bardem is playing Skilgar, a native of Arrakis.
Rebecca Ferguson plays Lady Jessica, Paul's mother and Duke Leto Atreides' concubine as well a member of the secretive all-female organisation Bene Gesserit.
Charlotte Rampling plays Reverend Mother Mohiam, a high-ranking member of the Bene Gesserit.
Stellan Skarsgard is Baron Vladimir Harkonnen, the main villain of 'Dune'. Dave Bautista has been cast to play Count Glossu Rabban. Zendaya is reportedly playing Chani, Paul Atreides' love interest.
