With all the hoopla surrounding Nigella Lawson's 'did she, didn't she' antic of 2013, and all the media attention following her very public scuffle with her then husband, it's no wonder that there's talk of a Nigella movie, but that's not to say we'd be queueing up to watch it.

Now while this is a bit of a stretch, in that Nigella isn't exactly high profile enough to warrant such an A-Lister to take on the role, we do think Angelina Jolie would have been a ringer for Lawson at least a couple of years back. Though Lawson's considerably more voluptuous so Angie'd want to be packing in a fair few midnight snacks.

In a conversation about the alleged biographical movie, a source revealed to The Sun newspaper that Angelina is indeed aware of Nigella's story and keen to get involved should a movie come to fruition: "Angie had planned to take a lot of time off next year but this role is very tempting... She has been gripped like everyone else by all the drama surrounding Nigella these past few months and thinks she is a remarkable woman. The story has got it all - and she's as intrigued as anyone else by it."

Really? Gripped? Would you watch a movie about Nigella Lawson's life? It's hardly that fascinating, or am I just too desensitised by what I read each day in the media? A Nelson Mandela film I can understand, a Lance Armstrong screen adaptation, sure. But Nigella?
