The Irish shot and partly Irish funded (through the fine folks at Element Pictures) Shadow Dancer has premeired at The Sundance Film Festival to very strong reviews.
The Hollywood Reporter loved the Clive Owen starring IRA thriller saying the James Marsh helmed effort was an "impeccably crafted film," and called the performances "compelling." British paper The Guardian was also on hand at the Colarado screening at said it was, "an opaque, slow-burning but brilliant thriller about the compulsions of terrorism." It looks like the first real must see film of the festival so far, and Marsh must be delighted with how his first non-documentary feature has gone down.
Well done to the guys at Element Pictures who look like they're onto another winner.
