Irish playwright Enda Walsh is adapting his own stage play Chatroom into a feature for original Ringu and The Ring Two director Hideo Nakata to direct. The man behind both Disco Pigs and the recently lauded Hunger has apparently finished the script and a March date has been set to begin filming in the UK. The film is described as "something very visual, very conceptual, and situated somewhere between 'Disturbia' and 'Cube". Film4 will part finance the production. Walsh is currently garnering very strong awards buzz for Hunger, the film based on the life of Bobby Sands that opened in Ireland on Friday.
