This week saw the release of two Oscar potentials; namely The Light Between The Oceans and Tom Ford's Nocturnal Animals.
As is often the case, Oscar-friendly films don't usually have big openings and are more steady growers that have more longevity than, say, blockbusters. So it goes that Nocturnal Animals opened in fifth place on this week's report whilst The Light Between The Oceans opened in seventh.
The Accountant, however, fared much better and opened in third place - yet Trolls and Doctor Strange still hold first and second place with a comfortable margin.
Here's this week's figures.
