Ahead of the release of Warner Bros flick, Now is Good (which you can check out as of yesterday) I had the pleasure of catching up with Dakota Fanning and her co-star Jeremy Irvine. Dakota needs no introduction; she's an incredibly talented 18 year old actress who shot to fame after working with the late Tony Scott and Denzel Washington on Man on Fire and then with Steven Spielberg and Tom Cruise on War of the Worlds. Jeremy's not far behind her having began his acting career with the Royal Shakespeare school, only then to be plucked from obscurity by Mr Spielberg himself, starring front and centre in War Horse, this movie and his forthcoming adaptation of Charles Dickens' Great Expectations.
As for Now is Good? Dakota plays Tess, a young girl suffering from leukemia who decides to stop treatment and compile a list of things she'd like to do before passing away. She wants to do 'as much as she can, as fast as she can.' Topping the list is her desire to lose her virginity. Something she hadn't planned on, though, was falling in love. And that's where boy next door Jeremy comes in.
