Writer/director Bryan Bertino will do two more thrillers for Rogue Pictures, who produced his recent breakout horror hit The Strangers, from a $9 million budget to a $50 million plus domestic gross. First is described as a "character-driven thriller with supernatural elements entitled Black", while the second is titled Alone, which has been in development at Rogue for some time. Bertino has reportedly signed a seven figure deal with the genre studio, who now appear to be the go-to guys for mainstream intelligent horror. Wes Craven currently has slasher flick 25/8 in production for them.
