Although it's a while away yet from hitting our screens, the recording sessions for the live-action / CGI hybrid of 'The Lion King' is underway.
In a tweet sent from his account, Jon Favreau shared a picture of himself, Donald Glover, Billy Eichner, and Seth Rogen in studio for recording on 'The Lion King'. The significance, of course, is that Glover is playing Simba, whilst Eichner and Rogen are playing Timon and Pumba respectively.

Eichner talked briefly about his recording sessions for 'The Lion King' on 'WTF with Marc Maron' a couple of weeks ago and discussed some of the singing he had to do for the role. But given that it's the three guys here and they're in the studio, does it perhaps mean that a new version of 'Hakuna Matata' has been recorded?
Because, honestly, we're ready for that and we're ready for a trailer, too. In fact, we're ready for all of this.
