After being teased yesterday, there was an epic #BOND25 reveal today. Here's everything we learned about the forthcoming 007 movie.
After being teased yesterday, some major #BOND25 reveals occurred today.
The announcement came from Jamaica where Ian Fleming originally penned the 007 books. It was also the location of 'Live and Let Die' and 'Dr No' and it looks like Bond 25 is being shot there too.
Producer Barbara Broccoli and director Cary Joji Fukunaga were both in attendance for a Q&A.
Phoebe Waller-Bridge, the creator and star of 'Fleabag' and 'Killing Eve', has been confirmed as a screenwriter. The other screenwriters are Neal Purvis, Robert Wade, Scott Z. Burns.

Unforunately, there is no word on the official title yet.
Other locations the spy installment will be shot in include Norway, Pinewood and locations around London, and Matera in Italy.
Cast members confirmed to be returning include Daniel Craig (obvs), Ralph Fiennes, Lea Seadoux, Naomie Harris, Ben Whishaw, Jeffrey Wright (Felix Leiter from 'Casino Royale') and Rory Kinnear. Looks like Christoph Waltz isn't coming back after all.

New cast members include Ana De Armas (known for 'Blade Runner 2049'), Dali Benssalah, David Dencik, Billy Magnussen ('The Big Short'), Lashanna Lynch and Rami Malek. Lashanna Lynch would be known for her role in 'Captain Marvel'. Malek very well could be the new Bond villain, as was previously rumoured.

For Lynch and Harris, it's a return to their roots as both of them are from Jamaica.
The plot synopsis reads:
"Bond has left active service and is enjoying a tranquil life in Jamaica. His peace is short-lived when his old friend Felix Leiter from the CIA turns up asking for help. The mission to rescue a kidnapped scientist turns out to be far more treacherous than expected, leading Bond onto the trail of a mysterious villain armed with dangerous new technology."
Principal photography on the 25th official James Bond film begins on 28 April 2019.
It's set to hit cinemas in Ireland and internationally from April 3, 2020.
