Some of the best directors currently wielding megaphones in anger have signed on to direct segments of comic book adaptation, Heavy Metal. David Fincher, James Cameron, Zack Snyder and Gore Verbinski have all been confirmed to helm pieces, while Jack Black will also appear in a comedy segment to be directed by his Kung Fu Panda helmer Mark Osborne. I don't know an awful lot of the comic series, but I do know it involves busty women in scantly attire, and an awful lot of cool Sci-Fi. In fairness, those directors could each take on a Daz ad and make it look stunning. According to reports there are also three other shooters in line to hop on board, who are "jaw-dropping." Michael Mann anyone?
