A director for the new live-action He-Man feature has reportedly found a director. Kung Fu Panda helmer Joe Stevenson has apparently signed on to bring the once popular toy figurine back to life. According to Latino Review, the former Muppet Show character designer and animation artist pitched a new take on the Mattel and cartoon character which got him the job. Obviously being that the film has only recently been pitched, there is no script, hence no star; but this could be going head-to-head with Kenneth Branagh's Thor for a leading man - although Thor would more than likely have a larger budget to play with.
