In a move that would shock absolutely nobody, it's been confirmed that Warner Bros. are now in the process of turning Harry Potter spin-off Fantastic Beasts (And Where To Find Them) into a trilogy of movies. The head of Warner Bros. spoke in an interview recently and discussed how he managed to convince JK Rowling to give her billion-dollar franchise another shot of life.

Rowling, it seems, turned in the first draft in just thirteen days and now Warner Bros. have given the film the greenlight. It's still early days yet, but already the trilogy is gathering pace. Producer David Heyman will be returning to shepherd the trilogy and directors have already been linked to the film.

The novel, released originally in 2001, was written in-universe. In other words, it had a foreword written by Dumbledore and even came with a little post-it note on the cover. Which is very cool, we think.
