Short Round and Indy back together
In probably the cutest moment of the weekend, Harrison Ford reunited with Ke Huy Quan 38 years after starring together in 'Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom'.
The picture was posted on Quan's Instagram page after the two met at Disney's D23 Expo this weekend. Quan captioned the picture with "I love you, Indy", and, quite frankly, we're in bits.
Quan made his acting debut in the 1984 film at just 13 years old. He then went on to become an iconic child-actor throughout the 80's.
Quan also played Data in 'The Goonies' and featured in 'Tales From the Crypt' and 'Head of the Class'. He then took a 35-year break from acting to focus on film production before returning in 'Everything Everywhere All at Once' this year.
While Quan was at D23 to promote the second season of 'Loki' in which he features, Ford was present at the unveiling of the 'Indiana Jones 5' teaser.
Speaking on stage Ford, visibly moved, said, "I’m very proud to say that this one is fantastic, and this is one of the reasons," before pointing to his co-star Waller-Bridge.
Alongside Ford and Waller-Bridge, 'Indiana Jones 5' stars John Rhys-Davies as Sallah, Mads Mikkelsen, Thomas Kretschmann, Boyd Holbrook, Shaunette Renee Wilson, Toby Jones, Antonio Banderas and Oliver Richters.
“'Indiana Jones' movies are about mystery and adventure, but they’re also about heart, and I’m really, really happy that we have a really human story to tell. As well as a movie that will kick your ass,” he continued.
The 80-year-old also added that his fifth outing as Indy will be his last. "This is it! I will not fall down for you again."
'Indiana Jones 5' hits cinemas on June 30, 2023.
