Universal Pictures are pushing back a bunch of release dates, including its two 'Halloween' sequels.
'Halloween Kills' will no longer hit cinemas on October 16, 2020. It now arrives a whole year later, on October 15, 2021.
Threequel 'Halloween Ends', meanwhile, has moved from October 15, 2021, to October 14, 2022.
John Carpenter released a statement on the move, which you can read below.

The much-anticipated 'Candyman' has also moved by a few weeks. It takes the October 16 release date, having originally meant to hit cinemas in April, and then September.
Universal also announced that 'The Forever Purge', the latest chapter in 'The Purge' franchise, will hit cinemas on July 9, 2021.
Other major releases from the studio that have been delayed include 'Minions: Rise of Gru', Fast & Furious 9' (aka 'F9') and 'Sing 2'.
The first major Hollywood releases to hit cinemas will be 'Tenet' and 'Mulan' on August 12th and 21st, respectively.
In the meantime, Irish cinemas will get such releases as 'Black Water: Abyss' (out this Friday), 'Stage Mother', 'Unhinged' and 'Broken Law', this month.
'Halloween' fans do get one bright side to this news.
A teaser trailer for the upcoming sequel was released by Universal to tide fans over.
