Guy Ritchie is to follow up the incoming blockbuster, Sherlock Holmes, with the comic book adaptation, Lobo. According to Variety, the DC comic is about an "alien interstellar bounty hunter." Ritchie now seems to have formed a strong working relationship with producer Joel Silver, who produced RocknRolla, and 'Holmes', as the Warner Bros. bigwig will be overseeing production on this one as well. Warner are showing a lot of confidence in Ritchie, so they obviously know something we don't (i.e. Sherlock Holmes is great). He's already in preproduction on Lobo, and will get to work on it once post is done on his retro Robert Downey Jr. starring action flick.
