Deadline.com are reporting that Eva Green has been confirmed as the female lead in the Tim Burton directed Dark Shadows film, with Jackie Earle Haley (Watchmen) and Bella Heathcote (Neighbours) also joining the cast.
Burton will continue to exploit his gothic sensibilities like a pimp does a Bangkok hooker barely out of her teens, for the film with regular cohort, Johnny Depp. Green will play witch, Angelique Bouchard who falls in love with Depp's Barnabas Collins - a man she put a vampire curse on.
So, the usual Burton/Depp crap then... Both are talented men who won't budge from their comfort zone - especially when working with each other. Pah!
