A romance drama set over multiple decades
Irish director John Crowley ('Brooklyn', 'Intermission') has a new romantic drama on the way starring Florence Pugh and Andrew Garfield.
'We Live in Time' sees Almut (Pugh) and Tobias (Garfield) brought together in a surprise encounter that changes their lives. Through snapshots of their life together — falling for each other, building a home, becoming a family — a difficult truth is revealed that rocks its foundation.
As they embark on a path challenged by the limits of time, they learn to cherish each moment of the unconventional route their love story has taken, in filmmaker John Crowley’s decade-spanning, deeply moving romance."
Benedict Cumberbatch executive produces with the screenplay by Nick Payne, who worked as a writer on 'The Crown' and penned Netflix’s 2021 rom-com 'The Last Letter From Your Lover'.
'We Live in Time' will have its world premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival in September. It's expected to be released in cinemas in Ireland later this year.
