It was a good weekend for the superstitious, as Friday the 13th bowed to a huge four day holiday total of $45.2 million, to easily give it the lead over competitors at the American box office. Staying put in second spot was hit romantic comedy He's Just Not That Into You, while Taken continued to do seriously good coin in third spot, with a total that is now over $80 million and counting. Elsewhere, new opener Confessions of a Shopaholic did solid business with a $17.3 million, while Clive Owen starrer The International opened with an average $10.7 million.
