Plus, there's a second trailer dropping tomorrow
Plenty of new character posters for the upcoming fantasy sequel have been released this week, but there's one notable omission.
18 new 'Fantastic Beasts 3' character posters have hit the internet, boasting quite an ensemble of witches and wizards - both new and returning.
'Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore' hits cinemas this April, and ahead of its release, Warner Bros. has also teased that a second trailer arrives tomorrow, Thursday, February 24.
Mads Mikkelsen takes centre stage as the new cast member of the film, taking over the role of the series' main antagonist Grindelwald from Johnny Depp. The evil sorcerer has been busy gathering more followers since the second entry, 'The Crimes of Grindelwald'. The storyline of this threequel film will also coincide with World War II and the Wizarding World's involvement.
Also featured in the posters are returning cast members Eddie Redmayne as Newt; Jude Law as Dumbledore; Alison Sudol's Queenie; Ezra Miller's Credence; and Dan Fogler as Jacob. Interestingly, Katherine Waterston's Tina, who is confirmed to be in the third entry and features prominently in parts one and two, doesn't get her own poster.
Jessica Williams' Lally, who briefly appeared in 'Fantastic Beasts 2' will play a more central role in the upcoming film. The witches and wizards are expected to go on an international adventure this time around, with a confirmed visit to Brazil on the cards. Brazilian actor Maria Fernanda Cândido will play new character Vicência Santos.
Here are all of the 'Fantastic Beasts 3' posters, complete with Newt's Bowtruckle Pickett and his Niffler Teddy getting their own dedicated moment to shine.
