Another brilliant actress I recently had the pleasure of catching up with was Michelle Williams, who many of you will have first fell in love with when she starred as Jen in Dawson's Creek. Since then, Williams has gone on to many great things, among which My Week With Marilyn, her current Oz: The Great and Powerful and my personal favourite, Blue Valentine is included.
She's a fantastic actress and one with an inherent on screen likeability no matter what the role is. She's a sweetheart too; so humble and so down to Earth.
I spoke to her about how she isn't really keen to continue pursuing the big budget blockbusters (she's far more interested in the smaller roles), how she had to pinch herself when it dawned on her that she was on the actual yellow brick road and how nervous she was arriving on a set this big, thinking she'd be asked to do all kinds of outrageous things, such as get her boobs out. Working with someone as cool as Sam Raimi, she soon knew this wasn't to be the case.
I hope you enjoy watching Michelle as much as I enjoyed meeting her.
Oz: The Great and Powerful hits Irish cinemas on Friday.
You can also watch my iterview with Sam Raimi here, Mila Kunis here, Rachel Weisz here, and James Franco & Zach Braff here.
