Not as long as 'No Time to Die' anyway
We now know the running time of 'Eternals', which is the next Marvel Cinematic Universe installment headed to cinemas.
According to the official synopsis: "Marvel Studios' The Eternals features an exciting new team of Super Heroes in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, ancient aliens who have been living on Earth in secret for thousands of years.
"Following the events of 'Avengers: Endgame', an unexpected tragedy forces them out of the shadows to reunite against mankind's most ancient enemy, The Deviants."
The movie features a star-filled ensemble cast including Gemma Chan, Richard Madden, Kumail Nanjiani, Lia McHugh, Brian Tyree Henry, Lauren Ridloff, Barry Keoghan, Don Lee, Harish Patel, Kit Harington, Salma Hayek, and Angelina Jolie.
The running time of 'Eternals' will be 2 hours 37 mins.
This makes it the second longest MCU movie after 'Avengers: Endgame', which is 3 hours 1 min long.
The third longest MCU movie is 'Avengers: Infinity War' at 2 hours 29 mins; the fourth and fifth are 'Avengers: Civil War' and 'Marvel's Avengers Assemble' at 2 hours 27 mins and 2 hours 23 mins, respectively.
It was announced in recent weeks that the remainder of Disney's 2021 movie slate, including 'Eternals', would be debuting in cinemas rather than on Disney+ premiere access.
Marvel fans can also look forward to 'Spider-Man: No Way Home' later this year. It arrrives in theatres on December 17, 2021.
'Marvel's Eternals' debuts in cinemas on November 5, 2021.
