Elizabeth Banks is directing a movie here, and is loving the Irish sea and Tayto crisps
Currently, two major Hollywood productions in 'Enchanted' sequel 'Disenchanted' and the new 'Dungeons and Dragons' movie are filming here in Ireland. That means A-listers like Amy Adams, Patrick Demsey, Maya Rudolph, Chris Pine, Michelle Rodriguez, Hugh Grant and Regé-Jean Page, among others, are visiting our shores right now.
Now Elizabeth Banks is the latest celeb to come to Ireland.
The actress and director shared a video announcing that she's moved her family here.
The video included some highlights of aspects of the country she's been enjoying so far.
Elizabeth Banks is known for starring in 'The Hunger Games' and 'Pitch Perfect' series. Her TV credits include 'SNL', '30 Rock', 'Scrubs' and 'Modern Family'
She also directed 'Pitch Perfect 2' and the recent 'Charlie's Angels' reboot.
She's directing her next feature 'Cocaine Bear' in Ireland as it subs in for Georgia.
According to THR: "The true story, as reported in 1985 by The New York Times, was that a 175-pound black bear consumed the contents of a duffle bag filled with more than 70 pounds of cocaine that was dropped from an airplane by a local drug smuggler, Andrew Thornton.
"The bear was later found dead of an apparent drug overdose."
The exact plot details are under wraps. Also on board are producers Chris Miller and Phil Lord.
In a video shared by Elizabeth Banks on Twitter, she poses with a flag, visits the Irish sea with her family, gets to grips with driving on the other side of the road, and shares her love of Tayto crisps.
She also gave a shout out to Mitchell & Son Wine Store in Sandycove.
