*pinches nose*

Let's be honest about this - we all know that the current President of the United States, Donald Trump, is not a smart person. In fact, in the most scientific usage of the word and its contextual meaning, Donald Trump is a gigantic dumbass. This has manifested itself in many ways of the years, through his multiple bankruptcies, failed businesses and the fact that he couldn't even work some male hair dye to get his hair looking right.

More recently, it's become evident every time he opens his mouth and speaks in front of a camera. Let's cut now to some footage yesterday of Donald Trump addressing journalists in the US about what needs to be done to curb violence among young people.

So, let's talk first about the video games thing. They've been saying it for years and it's never stopped being a thing. Studies have shown that there are both positives and negatives to young people playing video games, and you can read about some of these here. Trump went on, and blamed violent movies.

Let's pull a direct quote here, just to underline the point. "You see these movies, they’re so violent. And yet a kid is able to see the movie if sex isn’t involved, but killing is involved. And maybe they have to put a rating system for that. You get into a whole very complicated, very big deal but the fact is that you are having movies come out that are so violent with the killing and everything else that maybe that’s another thing we’re going to have to discuss."

So, yeah, there you have it. Donald Trump is unaware of the rating system that was put in place by Jack Valenti in 1968. It's been around for sixty years. Sixty years. And Donald Trump, dumbass that he is, is somehow unaware of it. At some point, you have to consider whether or not he's just willfully oblivious or just that dense that he can't see what's in front of him.

Now, let's finish this all out with a clip from '90s cartoon series Freakazoid, where the aforementioned Jack Valenti explained the MPAA rating system in America to kids.
