Diablo Cody has just reteamed with her Juno director, Jason Reitman, for the Charlize Theron starring comedy/drama, Young Adult, and has spoken to Collider.com about working with the talented helmer again.
"Jason is fantastic and he's really generous in a way that a lot of directors aren't with writers," adding "I have a lot of screenwriter friends and many of them have had an experience where they aren't even welcome on set during production, whereas Jason is always, 'Come on down!' He's happy to have me there. If I'm there, he'll use me as a resource." Young Adult is garnering great reviews, and has just expanded its theatre count in America.
I absolutely loved Juno, and Up in the Air is in my top ten of all time. A great reteaming of talent and I'm really looking forward to seeing it. It opens in Ireland on February 10th.
