More rock bands should have their own movies

In this horror-comedy, the band travel to Encino, California to record their 10th album in a grisly old mansion with some deadly secrets.

The dark forces at work try to get in the way of Dave and co recording the perfect album and, from the trailer, it looks like things start going sideways pretty quickly.

Strange things start happening to Grohl. He forgets he wrote the song 'Everlong' more than 20 years previously. He suffers writer's block. "Ever since we moved into this house, my mind is flooded".

Cue the demonic possession and the chaos begins. Nobody is safe inside the haunted house, especially not the Foos.

'Studio 666' stars band members Grohl, Taylor Hawkins, Pat Smear, Chris Shiflett, Rami Jaffee, and Nate Mendel. The cast of the movie also includes Whitney Cummings, Jenny Ortega, Leslie Grossman, and Will Forte.

Grohl said about the project: "After decades of ridiculous music videos and numerous music documentaries under our collective belts, it was finally time to take it to the next level. A full-length feature horror-comedy film. Like most things Foo, 'Studio 666' began with a far-fetched idea that blossomed into something bigger than we ever imagined possible."

'Studio 666' releases in US cinemas February 25. An international release date should hopefully be announced soon.
