Mark Steven Johnson has become attached to direct the action thriller Autobahn, reports Heat Vision.
Johnson last directed When in Rome, and also put Ben Affleck in leather for his adaptation of Daredevil. Unfairly lampooned, I actually really enjoyed Daredevil and the Director's Cut in particular is a very entertaining watch. In this intriguing sounding production, the lead character will play a man trapped in a BMW on the German Autobahn - an extremely long road with no speed limits. He has 90 minutes to deliver the bomb-rigged car to a target or his wife and daughter will buy the farm. Fun sounding concept, which I'm sure would involve some slick car chases.
No actor is yet attached, but when you hear "BMW" and "race against time" you instantly think Jason Statham.
