Oscar-winning Juno scribe Diablo Cody has been approached by Steven Spielberg to pen an untitled comedy script for DreamWorks, based on an original idea by Spielberg himself. Details of the plot are few and far between but this will mark the second time the Cody has collaborated with Spielberg having previously scripted the pilot for the TV series "The United States of Tara", which was also an idea of Spielberg's. Cody first came to the attention of Spielberg around the time when Juno was seeking a domestic distributor, well before Jason Reitman was attached to direct and Spielberg even briefly considered directing the teen pregnancy comedy himself.
