Cloudy With A Chance Of Meatballs has topped the American box-office this passing weekend, as it coined a solid $30 million to place it ahead of all newcomers. Elsewhere, quirky looking Matt Damon comedy, The Informant, did as expected in second with $10.5 million; both of these movies are expected to show legs after garnering hugely positive reviews. The same couldn’t be said of Jennifer’s Body though, as the Diablo Cody (Juno) scripted horror/comedy failed to find an audience in fifth with $6.8 million. The Jennifer Aniston romantic comedy, Love Happens, also did mediocre business taking in $8.4 million.
