Michael Mann is one of the finest directors working in modern cinema, and maybe also one of the most under appreciated.
Sure, Blackhat wasn't his finest work, but damn if it wasn't better than the vast majority of studio released flicks of the past few years. YEA WE SAID IT.
Anyhow, Mann is set to reteam with one of his Public Enemies stars, Christian Bale for a film he's had in development for the best part of two decades, Ferrari.
The film will focus on the life of the legendary, Enzo Ferrari but be set primarily in 1957.
This is a mouthwatering project to say the least. Both men are meticulous when it comes to their work, and Ferrari just has sexy written all over it.
The sooner this one happens the better.
