Chris Pine, Rachel McAdams and Meryl Streep have been linked with starring in "the key roles" in Alex Kurtzman's directorial debut, Welcome to People, according to Darkhorizons.com, by way of Production Weekly.
According to the always excellent Dark Horizons, the story follows "a struggling twenty-something junk dealer who returns home to Los Angeles for the funeral of his estranged record-producer father."
There are no deals yet in place for that cast, but the Transformers and Star Trek co-writer is a hot property in Hollywood, and it's thought an A-list cast is inevitable
