No no, not a comedy about periods, a period comedy, set back in the olden days.
Yesterday Michael Fassbender, today Chris O'Dowd; there's always an Irish movie star worth writing about. Sure aren't we very proud altogether. This time Chris has signed on to star in a movie called The Coward. It's an adaptation of a play - a comedy, of course - set in the 18th century. As per the folk at Vulture, Moone Boy's star and creator will appear opposite Adam Driver (Lena Dunham's wankery boyfriend in Girls) as a bit of a crook who ends up taking Driver's place for a gunfighting duel. After a taste of the high life, O'Dowd finds himself unwilling to let go.
Max Winkler will direct.
Sounds farcical and interesting. We're in.
