Chloe Moretz is stocking up the A-list directors at the age of 15, and is currently working with Tim Burton and Johnny Depp on The Dark Shadows - having just wrapped Martin Scorsese's Hugo.
At the moment, the young actress is best known for her brilliant work on the comic book adaptation, Kick Ass, and spoke to Movies.com about a possible sequel to that film. "I’d like to do it in the next year or two because I think that’s a really good time age-wise. You can show Hit Girl in a different light which would be a lot of fun... you know her as this 11-year-old assassin, so I think it would be fun to show her as this twisted young adult, this 16-17-year-old Catwoman-y almost, twisted and dark person."
That's a great idea, but whether or not a sequel will be made is anyone's guess. Despite a low budget (especially for a comic book adaptation) the film is seen as an underperformer in some Hollywood circles after a much hyped release. I loved it then and still love it - hopefully stellar DVD sales lead to a sequel.
