Horrible Bosses 2 has cast one half of a pair of baddies and it's none other than good guy Chris Pine.
According to Variety the Star Trek hunk will be part of a son-father team who steal the main characters' invention idea. He will join returning stars Jason Bateman, Jason Sudeikis, Charlie Day and Jamie Foxx, who we love to see in comic roles.
Pine is not half bad at comedy himself as demonstrated in laugh-a-minute Just My Luck (don't say you've forgotten this Lindsay Lohan gem). Now the bets are on for who will play the Daddy.
Deadline reports that the artist formerly known as The Rock, Dwayne Johnson, has signed up for a new disaster movie San Andreas in which he will play a rescue-helicopter pilot in search for his daughter across earthquake-ravaged California. He'll team back up with Brad Peyton, director of modern masterpiece Journey 2: The Mysterious Island.
The Rock, sorry, Mr. Johnson is always a safe bet for these types of movies what with his stellar combination of tough-guy muscles and that unexpectedly cute smile, so unless this movie features a truly insufferable child actor there's not too much that can go wrong.
Edgar Wright's Ant-Man is finally gaining traction it seems as Variety say that everyone's favourite Joseph Gordon-Levitt and their other favourite Paul Rudd are the front-runners for the title role.
Wright reportedly favours an 'every-man' for the role and it appears that both actors fit the bill in his eyes. (Maybe he hasn't seen the trailer for Don Jon yet?)
