District 9 star (and first time actor) Sharlto Copley is rumoured to have been approached by Joe Carnahan to play the role of the madcap pilot Howling Mad Murdock in his The A-Team project. Copley wowed critics with his naturally funny performance in District 9 and seems like logical choice to play Murdock. In fact, the casting for this movie has been spot on with Liam Neeson playing Col. Hannibal Smith, Bradley Cooper in the role of Templeton 'Faceman' Peck and former UFC Light Heavyweight Champion Quinton 'Rampage' Jackson playing the iconic B.A. Baracus. Copley won't have a lot of time to ponder the decision, The A-Team has already started shooting in Vancouver.
