Nicolas Cage has pulled out of the now-shooting Seth Rogen/Cameron Diaz action comedy, The Green Hornet. Cage was due to play main bad dude, Mr X, but has dropped out after a deal wasn't reached between the studio and his representatives. The Michel Gondry flick has had more talent changes that any production I can remember in recent memory; first Stephen Chow was attached to co-star as Kato and direct the film, before handing over helming duties to Gondry after "creative differences" with the producers (probably Rogen); but he still remained as Kato until recently. Now, Jay Chou is Kato, after actors from all over the world were considered for the part, and production is well under way. They'd wanna get their ass into gear if they don't this to fall behind schedule and lose mucho clams. I like the risky direction Rogen is taking his career, and having penned this as well, laughs are surely to be in abundance.
