We've barely had time to wave goodbye to Walter White and Jesse, and already Bryan Cranston's talking about heading behind the camera once he's done with a bit of Broadway action later this year. Seriously, we can't get over the speed this fella moves at.

"I hope to direct in the latter part of next year", Cranston reveals in an interview with this month's Total Film. "I hope to be directing a screenplay that I wrote. It's a murder mystery. It's a very dark subject, very Breaking Bad in tone, with some sick humour connected to it", he says.

We're sure fans of the hit AMC series will be only delighted to hear that their hero hasn't abandoned the genre completely. Sure with Hollywood CEOs offering millions for another few episodes, we're sure Cranston won't have too much trouble getting his project off the ground.
