Don't get your hopes up - this is probably going to be an advertisement or something.

As we've opined in the past, Bruce Willis' career hasn't so much gone downhill, as it's gone flying down a cliff-face, caught fire, and exploded on impact.

From the likes of 'Die Hard', or even his early TV work like 'Moonlighting', he's now seen primarily in straight-to-VOD movies that nobody really pays any attention to. Therefore, it's kind of intriguing to wonder what his next move is, if any.

Last night, Willis' daughter, Rumer, posted a short fifteen-second teaser that shows dear old Dad walking through a dimly-lit street, whistling Beethoven's 'Ode To Joy' before he turns at the sound of guns clicking, and proceeds to take off his jacket to get ready for something. The video then cuts to black with the words #DieHardIsBack.

Here's the tweet. We'll update this article when the actual video is live.

So, is it a sixth 'Die Hard' movie? Does #DieHardIsBack mean that John McClane is coming out of retirement? That seems highly unlikely for a number of reasons. For one, we would have heard something about it by now. Secondly, the rights to 'Die Hard' are currently under Disney's control, as 'Die Hard' was part of 20th Century Fox's stable of franchises.

Third, did anyone see 'A Good Day To Die Hard' and think that it needed a sixth movie? The answer is absolutely not. 'Die Hard' should have wrapped things up with the third one, 'Die Hard With A Vengeance', and left it at that. But no, we got two more very bland and very poor action movies that ruined what came before.

Our guess? This is probably an ad for either a drink / alcohol brand, a car company, or some kind of TV show cameo. What if it was, at long last, a cameo on 'Brooklyn Nine-Nine' and Jake Peralta finally got to meet Bruce Willis / John McClane? The likelihood is it's probably an advertisement, not unlike Jeff Bridges' thing from a couple of years ago where he reprised his role as The Dude from 'The Big Lebowski'... for Stella Artois.
