Recent Oscar winner Danny Boyle has announced his highly anticipated follow up to Slumdog Millionaire and it sounds like a belter. Boyle will helm 127 Hours, based on the true story of mountain climber Aron Ralston, who had to amputate his own arm with a penknife after his forearm got stuck in a boulder for five days while he was scaling a peak in Utah. Rumours are that (the downright brilliant) Ryan Gosling is the man that Boyle wants for the part, but that things are in the very early stages of preproduction for a release around this time next year.
