We presume that they're going to call it 'Taken: The Piss'...
Bono has had an interesting few weeks, what with the news that the new U2 album, Songs of Innocence has been greeted less than enthusiastically by Apple users who had it automatically sent to their iTunes, so he might be considering branching out a bit and putting some of his creative efforts in to different fields.
That has naturally led to him teaming up with action star of the moment Liam Neeson, as it turns out the pair are writing a script together for a movie. According to The Independent, Neeson and Bono have been good friends for a long time, and they have been working on the script "for the past six years".
Neeson added that the movie would be set in Ireland in the 1970s, and focus on the show bands and music of that era. He didn't say whether or not he would star himself, but surely a musical cameo from Bono would be in there at one stage. Or else it's Liam Neeson seeking revenge through music, he should always be seeking revenge.
