'Birds of Prey (and the Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn)' looks like it could follow 'Wonder Woman' as a half-decent DC movie

While the jury is officially still out on 'Birds of Prey (and the Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn)', dare we get excited about it after the latest trailer?

Featuring Margot Robbie doing her level best as the maniacal ex-girlfriend of the Joker (the Jared Leto one, not the Joaquin Phoenix one), 'Birds of Prey' sees Harley Quinn teaming up with a variety of women to take down on one of "Gotham’s most nefariously narcissistic villains".

And with a cast that includes Mary Elizabeth Winstead, Jurnee Smollett-Bell, Rosie Perez, Ella Jay Basco, Chris Messina and Ewan McGregor, there's something for almost everyone here.

It's still explosion heavy and very comic book-y, but Margot Robbie is just too damn good as Harley Quinn for us not to be excited. Plus, that's the best use of Bjork's version of 'It's Oh So Quiet' we've seen in years.

'Birds of Prey (and the Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn)' is set for release in Irish cinemas on February 7th.
