Ben Affleck is in negotiations to star in (and possibly) direct the action thriller Line of Sight, says The Hollywood Reporter.
Affleck is currently in preproduction on political (satire?) flick Argo - which he's also starring in and helming - but this one sounds like straight up action - with a twist. The plot on 'Sight' centres on an "elite commando squad transporting cargo while dealing with a global threat." The entire film would be told from a first person perspective, just like a war video game. That might explain why Halo: Reach game writer, Peter O'Brien, has taken a pass at the script.
Could be very cool, could be a computer game without the controller. Either way, with Affleck possibly directing, it'll be worth seeing.
