If freaky demon-type girls climbing out of your TV terrifies the crap out of you, you'd be better off not reading this.

Still here? The completion of the US Ring trilogy - which began with 2002's The Ring - has finally got a release date.

After months of speculation as to whether or not the film was even happening, there's finally something solid.

Paramount reports that the imaginatively-titled Rings will open in US cinemas on November 13th of this year, with an Irish release expected roughly around the same time.

As for the cast, none have been announced yet although F. Javier Gutierrez will be directing.

Gutierrez was initially signed on to helm The Crow reboot with Luke Evans, although that's no longer the case as both he and Evans have left.

Rings will be Gutierrez's second feature-length film, having done the critically-acclaimed Spanish film Before The Fall.

We'll be keeping an eye out for trailers, but in the meantime, here's a taster of what's come before.
