He described 'Justice League' as "difficult"

In spite of a longtime back-and-forth with regards to the project 'The Batman' - which ended with Robert Pattinson in the titular role - Ben Affleck isn't quite done with the Caped Crusader yet.

Promoting his latest movie 'The Tender Bar', Affleck confirmed that he will return as Batman in 'The Flash'.

Not only that but it sounds like he had a very positive experience on the production.

Speaking to Variety, the actor said: "It was a really nice way to revisit that as the prior experience had been difficult" which appeared to gesture towards his experience on 'Justice League'.

He added: "This was really lovely. Really fun."

He continued "I had a great time," before joking: "I’m probably under some gag order that I’m not even aware that I probably just violated and I’m now going to be sued."

Ezra Miller returns to the role of The Flash in the movie. 'Derry Girls' star Saoirse-Monica Jackson also joins the cast.

Ben Affleck praised his 'Justice League' co-star, saying: "I love Ezra and I had a chance to see Jason [Momoa], who’s over there making 'Aquaman [and the Lost Kingdom]'."

Affleck isn't the only iteration of Batman who will be popping up in 'The Flash'. Michael Keaton has also been cast in the movie.

The next version of the character audiences will be seeing though is 'The Batman' on 4 March, 2022.

'The Flash' has a release date of 4 November, 2022.

Ben Affleck next stars in 'The Last Duel', which hits cinemas in the coming weeks on 15 October, 2021.
