In some marvellous casting news, Inglorious Basterds scene-stealer Christoph Waltz has joined the cast of The Green Hornet, replacing Nic Cage as the villain of the piece. Waltz will play Chudnofsky, the foe to Seth Rogen's Britt Reid / Green Hornet. The film is already before the cameras, with Rogen, Jay Chou and Cameron Diaz making up the rest of the cast. Good to see Waltz pick up a big role after an excellent performance in Basterds; as he is already garnering mucho Oscar buzz, he could end up being a great piece of business for Rogen and director Michel Gondry, when the film comes out Christmas 2010.
